We are incredibly lucky here at Bromley Trust Academy to have excellent relations with all of the local emergency services. The Police often visit on a pro-active basis, for example leading assemblies, with messages of how to stay safe.

Our most exciting day came on an ‘Impact’ day when colleagues from the London Fire Brigade, the Ambulance service, the Police, Battersea Dogs Home and a race relations group all visited on the same day. The purpose of the day was to illustrate how well supported we are here in Britain today with friendly and highly trained adults on hand, just a call away, to help.

Through the various sessions in the day, learners engaged, were awe struck and even dressed up. So too did some of the teachers!

An amazing day was had by all – and we thank the volunteers for their time. We look forward to seeing them next year!
