Welcome To Midfield Campus

Bromley Trust Academy is a unique place of learning where supporting pupils to make progress, Discover new learning and achieve is at the heart of everything we do. We Endeavour to create a stimulating, challenging and inspiring learning environment, where staff and pupils work together within our Community, developing their Independence, Decision making, so that all pupils achieve their full potential Everyday.

On behalf of the pupils, staff, directors and Trust I would like to welcome you to Bromley Trust Academy AP Academy (Hayes and Midfield Campus) We are proud to be part of the London South East Academies Trust (our school sponsor) which has brought about collaboration and amazing opportunities for the school.

As a school we aim to broaden horizons for our pupils and support our young people until they are ready to transition on to their next school. We work hard to ensure that all pupils receive the best possible learning opportunities and that their learning journey with us is the best it can possibly be.

The happiness and success of every child is central to our school’s work and promoting high levels of achievement in all aspects of a child’s development is important to us, and is reflected in all we do.

We are recognised by Ofsted (Sept 2017) as a Good School where “staff know pupils very well” and “use the information they have well to meet pupils’ academic and emotional needs”. “Leaders and local authorities who place pupils at the school are right to have confidence in the school’s work. Pupils are receiving a good quality of education”. “Parents and carers agree that their children are well cared for and that they enjoy school”.

As part of an expanding academy trust that offers young people alternative opportunities and fresh starts to succeed in life. We pride ourselves on inclusion across the school - and we expect high standards. Children attend in smart uniform, participate in challenging lessons and come together regularly in assemblies and celebrations. This is in order to share in the pride of our school and to prepare our pupils for life beyond our doors!

We have two sites – Midfield Campus (Primary) and Hayes Campus (Secondary). We provide education and support for pupils who are at risk of being, or have been, permanently excluded from both primary and secondary schools. We aim to work with pupils to identify and remove barriers to learning in order that where possible they can return to a mainstream school or to access specialist school setting.

We always welcome visits – so please do get in touch and come and see our amazing community, learning and most importantly our fantastic pupils.

Executive Head Teacher

As the Executive Head Teacher of Bromley Educational Trust, I am very proud of ourstudents and young people who attend them; who we teach, guide and support so that they develop the knowledge, skills, emotional and social maturity to make thoughtful decisions and become purposeful young adults.

We are able to deliver this through a broad and balanced curriculum delivered bydedicated specialist teachers and support staff who provide an educational experience that enriches the lives of our young people.

By focusing on academic, social and emotional well being, we improve our students' life chances and provide the necessary guidance and support to allow them to follow appropriate pathways into further education and/or employment so they become good, moral citizens.
