Admissions
All placements are commissioned through the London Borough of Bromley and considered through a multi-agency Gateway Panel process or directly as a result of a permanent exclusion. We do not accept direct referrals from parents or carers. Pupil referred via Gateway panel remain dual registered with their home school, allowing both settings to work together to support their education and wellbeing. Pupils who have been permanently excluded become solely registered with BTA.
Once BTA has been identified as the most appropriate placement, parents and carers are invited to visit the school and meet the Head of School for an initial interview and a tour of the school. When pupils are ready to move on, we work closely with their next educational setting to provide a smooth and successful transition, ensuring the right support is in place for the next stage of their education.
